Use the Settlement or Payout Summary to explain each transfer into your bank account.

Steps

  1. 1Open the Settlement / Payout Summary report.
  2. 2Choose the date range covering the bank credit you are checking.
  3. 3Select the bank account using its final digits.
  4. 4Match the Settlement Amount to the credit on your statement, allowing for banking timing differences.

Worked example

Sales of £10,000, refunds of £200, fees of £80 and VAT on fees of £16.

  • Net settlement: £10,000 - £200 - £80 - £16 = £9,704 paid into your bank.
  • Gross settlement: £9,800 paid into your bank, with a separate £96 invoice for fees and VAT.
Figures are an example only. Your actual fees, VAT, chargebacks, adjustments and payment dates depend on your agreement.
