Why a payout date differs from a sale date
Settlement cycles, weekends and bank processing explained.
A sale, its settlement and the bank credit can each fall on different dates.
- Card payments are batched and settled on a cycle agreed for your account.
- Weekends and bank holidays delay the credit reaching your bank.
- Refunds and adjustments may settle in a later period than the original sale.
If a payout is later than expected by more than a couple of working days, note the payment reference and dates and contact support.
The video follows the same steps as the SOP, so you can read and watch together.
